My name is Michael Mayes and I live in Adelaide, South Australia.
I am a very, very big fan of Tina Arena and one who was lucky enough to see her
in concert at the Crown Casino on new years eve.

What can I say except that she did not disappoint. It had been just over 2 years since I
saw her last during her In Deep Live concert in 1997 where I saw her once in Adelaide
and twice in Melbourne. And she is still looking fantastic and singing with that sweet
voice that sends a shiver down my spine with every note.

Anyway, New Years Eve with Tina Arena, I could not have imagined a better way
to count in the new millennium. Tina was on stage for about one hour  which included
counting in the new year.
Tina sang the following songs (in order):

BURN
IN COMMAND
SIXTEEN YEARS
SORRENTO MOON
IF I DIDN'T LOVE YOU
NO SHAME
I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS
THAT'S THE WAY A WOMAN FEELS
NOW I CAN DANCE (which was cut short while Tina did the count down)
& CHAINS

Tina was also programmed to sing Heaven Help My Heart as an encore but people
seemed to be more interested in the fireworks which I thought was a real shame. Although
many of the people were probably not Tina Arena fans, (I can't imagine why not).
Speaking of shame, it was good to hear Tina sing No Shame, a song that is not
available in Australia but a song that is one of my favourites.

Tina is just great and it would take me too long to describe just how good her appearance on
stage was and how much I look forward to seeing her again. Tina is just bloody unbelievable.

Any how I thought I should just let all the other Tina fans know what a good night
it was and how good it was to see her on stage again in Australia.
